Help and advice
We want to use our years of experience in dealing with thalassemia to help children and teenagers affected by the disorder and their families, to advise on problems that may occur on a daily basis, and to put our advice network at their disposal.
Personal contact is the most important criterion when providing individual help and that is why we are available to sufferers and their families any time they want to get in touch and will be happy to help with any query, which may even be made anonymously by e-mail or telephone if you wish.
Through this direct contact, you are able to ask questions about thalassemia or its treatment directly and avoid or clear up any misunderstandings. We deal with your problems and questions sensitively and proficiently, so that, together with you, we can find practical and appropriate solutions.
Often it is useful simply to describe the situation to another person to get a different perspective on the situation. Of course, any consultation can remain anonymous if you wish.
